Melinda has over twenty years of design and project management experience in the construction industry, providing services in the residential, hospitality and retail sectors. In addition to having had her work published, she has provided client side project management during the construction and refurbishment of commercial, high-end luxury residential and multi residential projects.

Melinda has recently provided client side project management of remedial projects with budgets up to $8 million.

After going through an extended defects remediation process on her own apartment complex, including liaising with consultants, participating in the legal negotiations, and providing client side project management during construction, she realised that her skill set could benefit others; a combination of industry experience, design sensibility, and empathy with the clients.

DALE SMITH

BE(Hons) MBA(MGSM) MIEAust CPEng (Civil and Structural)

Dale is a chartered Civil and Structural Engineer with over twenty years in the construction industry, providing engineering design, project management and construction phase services in the residential, institutional and commercial markets, with project budgets typically in the order of $10-15 million, and up to $140 million.

Dale ran his own consulting engineering practice for twelve years, and recently completed an MBA.

Dale’s technical background, project management and business skill set provides a unique tool kit to benefit the clients of Lawton Reis.
